Welcome to Blue Creek Cottage! The space is a 2 bedroom 1 bath getaway  nestled on 1 acre in the heart of Black Mountain, NC near Cheshire Village and 4 minutes to The historic downtown square.

The cottage is located on a private acre surrounded by trees, tasteful landscaping and a flowing creek. Drive up the newly graveled driveway and see the cottage tucked into the landscape as the dappled sun breaks through the canopy of walnut trees. You'll notice the massive outdoor stone fireplace, perfect for keeping warm or roasting marshmallows. Walk past the small spring creek behind the fence line and onto the flagstone pathway towards the front Dutch-door. The property also has a door in the primary bedroom to access the FULLY FENCED, WELL LIT side yard.  

From the living room, open the double french doors and step out onto the large flagstone patio and lounge by the main creek. This is a great spot to start your day with a steaming cup of coffee while bird watching and keeping your eyes open for deer and other wildlife. 

If you're visiting in the spring or summer, enjoy the view of green leaves, daffodils and wildflowers all around you.  In autumn, the peak fall colors of reds, purples and yellows will have you in awe. In the winter enjoy views of the mountains through the bare trees.

Inside you'll feel cozy and at home relaxing by the large electric fireplace. Curl up on the comfy sectional sofa and watch a blockbuster on the 65" 4K smart TV with sound system. Choose from the eclectic vinyl collection and spin some tunes on the Victrola or maybe play some retro video games.  

Make yourself a latte at the coffee bar or an entire meal in the spacious kitchen which is fully stocked with anything a chef needs to prepare a meal. The home features a spa like bathroom with an enormous walk-in shower. 

The primary bedroom boasts a king size bed with a hotel quality Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress and premium luxury Egyptian cotton sheets. Plus there's a 46" 4k Smart TV to stream whatever you're binging. 

The second bedroom sleeps 3 with a full size hotel quality Zinus Green Tea memory foam day bed and trundle bed. The closet is stacked with board games, puzzles and card games. There's also a fold down desk for arts & crafts or if there's some unfortunate remote working to do. Lightning fast wifi makes your Zoom calls a breeze. 

We provide a "starter package" of consumable goods for your stay, which includes Dynamite Roasters Keurig pods and tea bags toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, dish soap, dish sponge, dishwasher pods, trash bags and laundry pods. Our hope is for you to begin enjoying your stay as soon as you arrive.

You will feel as though you're deep in the forest, yet you're only a 4 minute drive to Black Mountain's historic downtown square full of shopping and dining opportunities.  Be sure to visit our favorite - Lake Tomahawk.  The walking path is an easy 1/2 mile with 360 views of the Seven Sisters mountain range. 

Around the corner, enjoy pickle ball and tennis courts of Creekside Racquet Club or explore the quaint Cheshire Village and the beautifully landscaped walkable grounds. From hiking to shopping to sight seeing to eating, there is a ton to do in "The Little Town That Rocks!"  

It's only short 13-15 minute drive to Asheville from Blue Creek Cottage, where you can live like a local with some of our recommendations.

Our check in time is at 4:00 p.m. and our check out time is at 11:00 a.m. We ask that you please be respectful of these times to allow our 5 star cleaning team to properly prepare the house for the next guests.
